We provide vaccinations, health screening, consultation, and more to both walk-in patients and the children at local schools. When we started in April, we saw about 20 people per week in the clinic -- some uninsured, immigrants, refugees, poor, or all of the above. We help people learn about Medicaid, WIC (for women), food stamps, and other programs that they need to stay healthy.<\/p>\n<h3>What United Health Services Plans to do with this loan:<\/h3>\n<p>With our current refrigeration equipment and volunteer staff, we cannot deliver many vaccines, and we can only see patients who come to our clinic. This is a challenge because many of our patients cannot afford transportation or miss work to take their children to us.
